I learned this when I had a mentor who couldn't understand why I wasn't able to sit still for 16 hours straight learning how to edit / 3D model & animate / program / anything the way he could. He was extremely inspirational to me and my work ethic and is a big reason why I do get as much stuff done as I do, why I stick to the day-to-day crunch and have faith in the long game. But my inability to focus for 16 hours straight was not laziness. Where it burned me out, it kept him going -- when he didn't focus on work he'd struggle with attention and get addicted to things like video games or competitive activities. He was always just wired to be ON, I'm wired to stop and think, try something, stop and think, try something, stop and think.....

The unedited aspect of these episodes is a delight because it feels more real - like that is how actual conversations go. . . .we say what we say, and that's that. And it really adds to the LIFE of your podcast! Thanks for feeling obligated to the social club to keep it going at least for a bit hahaha! And I echo Dane's comment in the club - the accents are such a neat surprise every time!
