It’s been a while now friends. I hope you’re well, doing great things in life. With everything moving fast, I do try my best to take it all in and I hope you do too. Before we continue, do take your time to check out my debut novella EMELIA.
Another thing I’d like to share is that I have another Novel to be published this year, most likely in the month of November, or December. Not exactly sure yet but it’s coming. Till then, my only issue is consistency, and I do promise to publish more. Now then, let’s get on with the story at hand. It’s a mini series about Romance, or maybe not, who knows.
Enjoy my dear friends.
I walked into the store and the first thing I noticed besides the lights, the car in the showroom, the financial advisors, was a book. A black book titled The Iliad & The Odyssey! Who could have in hand such a book in the days where the phone is plastered on the face of every human that walks?
The bathroom door in the far right corner opened, and she walked out. In her hands, a book, the title PSALMS. Fascinated, I started from her feet, looked at the shoes she wore, black. As my eyes moved up, she got closer, till I saw her face, plucked from the trees of a garden well taken care of. Beautiful, I thought.
“Can I see this?” I ask.
She stopped in her tracks, saw my finger point to the book that laid on the table.
“yes,” she smiled.
“All ready for you,” the Advisor said. She followed him from the lounge right into his office.
While she sat in his office, talking and enjoying what it is to be an adult, I sat enjoying the looks of the book. The cover - black with the touches of her skin on it. I turn the pages, unread - or unmarked. “How beautiful she is.”
I closed my eyes and brought to mind her smile again.
“So, what do you think?” I heard.
“Great book, have you read it?”
“Almost done with it.”
“Unmarked book - she’s probably as as unmarked as the book,” I thought.
"Glad to hear that, it’s a great book!”
The title in her hand intrigued me as I give her the book. “A Christian as well! What else about you can I find out?” I thought..
“Thank you….”
"Isaac,” I held my hands her way.
“Melanie.”
“Beuatiful name, have a great day.”
“Thank You, you as well.”
I watched her walk out of the store, “Melanie,” I said. I looked back at the advisor, “What’s her last name?”
“Why do you want to know?”
“Just tell me, my friend.”
He walked into his office, and came out with a merchant receipt copy with her name on it, “Melanie Love” It wrote. On the receipt, her phone number, address and more were written. I sighed, took my phone out and took a picture of the receipt. I must find her somehow, someway!
“Melanie Love!”
Hope you enjoyed. It is a mini series, nothing too crazy. I’ll share more with you shorty dear friends. Thanks for reading!
Till Next Time
